Welcome to Lambda Eta Omega Chapter

As president of Lambda Eta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, it is my heartfelt delight to welcome you to our web site.  Since inception on October 23, 1976, Lambda Eta Omega Chapter has served as a viable inspiration in the City of Champions -- Gadsden, Alabama -- by implementing progressive programs, activities and initiatives.  Lambda Eta Omega Chapter is located in Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority’s South Eastern Region—Alabama, Tennessee and Mississippi.

International President Attorney Carolyn House Stewart continues fulfilling the mission of service which was imperative of our founders; she has envisioned our path under the 2010-2014 theme -- Global Leadership Through Timeless Service.  The signature program initiatives are:   I – Emerging Young Leaders (EYL); II – Health; III – Global Poverty; IV – Economic Security; V – Social Justice and Human Rights and VI – Internal Leadership Training for External Service.  Feel free to explore our web site to learn more about these initiatives.

During our second century of service, Lambda Eta Omega Chapter captures this renewed vision and overarching mission.  We are dedicated to impact many requests by providing endless service and financial support to all mankind “with a spirit of excellence” during and beyond this administration.
Enjoy the web site; we welcome your comments.

Sisterly,

Yvette Latham
President
